Accelerate Talent

Completed over a two year period to deeply in bed the learning, year 1 is a series of 8 sessions where participants develop the strong foundations they need to spring board their impact across the organisation. Mental Health First Aid Certification Course
Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised, highly respected certified training course. It is designed to enable you to spot the warning signs of poor mental ill health and to provide initial, first-level support and early intervention. MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but like physical first aid it will enable you to confidently listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.

Mental Health First Aid Refresher (4 hours)
Mental health should be treated equally to physical health, and just like Physical First Aid training, Mental Health First Aid training should be kept up to date. Can you remember what ALGEE stands for? How confident do you feel about identifying the warning signs of mental ill health? How up to date are you with the latest research? This course is for you if you want to ensure your knowledge is current, that you are following best practice and would like the opportunity to discuss the reality of your role.
If you are a Mental Health First Aider, or a Mental Health Champion, this interactive, fact packed, MHFA Refresher course should be taken every three years to ensure your awareness of mental health support is current, to refresh and update your knowledge of mental health and what influences it and to build confidence in the practical application the Mental Health First Aid action plan.
